Well, here it is. My first blog. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing yet. But, I will soon enough. Let me start by giving a background on myself. My name is Brittany, I gave birth to my first child, a daughter, Bridon Nicole, October 15th, 2009. She was diagnosed with a neurological condition called Alobar Holoprosencephaly in May 2009 when I was 20 weeks. We held her in our arms for a week before she went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2009. It's been almost 6 months and my arms still feel so empty. My husband, Donnie & I have been on a journey of healing, albeit at very different levels most days, since then. Donnie had been deployed to Iraq with the Pennsylvania National Guard until Sept.15th, 2009, so he had a very short time to adjust to the emotional chaos that was to soon encompass our lives. We are very blessed to have had the week with Bridon that we did.....she is our lil' butterfly!
